DGA’s Role: Construction Manager

This project located in Watertown, NY included the new construction of 394 townhome style apartments in 66 five- and seven- unit buildings. Construction included a new community center, bus shelter, playground, maintenance building and pump station. The project was successfully completed in two phases on time and under budget. The entirety of this apartment development took nearly three years to complete. 

The silty soil presented a unique challenge in that it was very hard in natural state. This soil was very sensitive to moisture and became unstable easily. Helical piles were used to shore up and stabilize the foundations in several of the early buildings.
