RIT Digital Den Retail Store
DGA’s Role: Construction Manager
Completion: 2013
DGA Builders renovated the 5,000 SF retail space residing in the Rochester Institute of Technology. The space hosts the Digital Den, which relocated from its old location in the Barnes & Noble Bookstore to Monroe Hall.
The move included combining the Photo Store and HUB Express Digital Printing for a convenient “one stop digital shop” for students.
Renovations included a new secure storefront opening, new product displays with storage capacity for the sale of digital equipment, a sales counter for the Digital Den and Photo Store that included separate stations for technical help, equipment drop-off/repairs, printing station, and designated space for employees with lockable storage areas.
The design included designated gathering areas for small groups and an interactive product display with laptops, gaming, video display, and virtual reality gear.
